2025 5th International Conference on Computer Science, Electronic Information Engineering and Intelligent Control Technology
On November 22, 2025, the 5th International Conference on Computer Science, Electronic Information Engineering and Intelligent Control Technology (CEI 2025) concluded successfully at the Yulin Hall, Junwu Hall, Guangxi University, in the beautiful city of Nanning. The conference was hosted by Guangxi University, jointly organized by the School of Computer and Electronic Information / School of Artificial Intelligence, Guangxi University, and the Guangxi Key Laboratory of Multimedia Communications and Network Technology. It was also strongly supported by South China University of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Guangxi Computer Users Association, Guangxi Image and Graphics Society, and other units. Against the backdrop of the global wave of intelligent transformation and the deep integration of new-generation information technology with the real economy, this conference aimed to gather global wisdom, explore cutting-edge trends, and holds profound significance in promoting interdisciplinary innovation and fostering industry-university-research-application synergy. The conference agenda was compact and substantial, covering keynote speeches, oral presentations, poster sessions, and award ceremonies.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Professor Meng Zuqiang, Associate Dean of the School of Computer and Electronic Information / School of Artificial Intelligence, Guangxi University. Subsequently, the conference chairman, Professor Zhang Zhenrong, Executive Associate Dean of the School of Computer and Electronic Information / School of Artificial Intelligence, Guangxi University, delivered a welcome speech. He warmly welcomed distinguished experts and scholars from afar and emphasized the importance of strengthening fundamental research and promoting cross-disciplinary cooperation in the new round of technological revolution.


Professor Chen Haiqiang, Program Committee Chair and Executive Deputy Director of the Guangxi Key Laboratory of Multimedia Communications and Network Technology, elaborated on the significance of the CEI conference series in promoting interdisciplinary integration and stimulating innovative thinking, and wished the conference great success.
The academic exchange session consisted of seven high-level keynote speeches and thirteen brilliant oral presentations, creating a strong academic atmosphere and intense intellectual collisions. In the morning keynote session, five renowned scholars from home and abroad shared their cutting-edge achievements: Professor Geng Xin (National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, Executive Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Southeast University); Professor Liu Min (National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Young Changjiang Scholar, Party Secretary of the School of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Hunan University); Professor Shen Lecheng (National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, East China Normal University); Professor Ljiljana Trajkovic (IEEE Fellow, Simon Fraser University, Canada); and Professor Chen Min (IEEE Fellow, IET Fellow, AAIA Fellow, South China University of Technology).





The afternoon session was chaired by Professor Chen Haiqiang, Deputy Director of Guangxi Key Laboratory of Multimedia Communications and Network Technology. Two distinguished experts delivered remarkable speeches: Professor Hu Qinghua (Executive Dean of the Excellence Engineers Institute, Tianjin University; Director of Tianjin Key Laboratory of Machine Learning; National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars) and Professor Zhang Yin from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.



The subsequent oral session was chaired by Associate Professor Huang Changwei of Guangxi University, with presentations delivered both online and onsite, providing a broad academic exchange platform for young scholars. During the conference, participants engaged in lively discussions on emerging research directions in computer science, electronic information engineering, and intelligent control technology, showcasing the vibrant innovative vitality of the field.
The conference also featured anAward Ceremony. Based on rigorous evaluation by attending professors, three major awards were presented:
Best Paper Award: Recognizing academic papers with outstanding contributions in theoretical innovation or technological application.
Excellent Young Scholar Presentation Award: Commending young scholars who delivered exceptional oral presentations and remarkable research outcomes.
Best Poster Award: Rewarding participants who excelled in poster design and research presentation.
The winners received trophies and certificates presented by Professor Chen Haiqiang, Executive Deputy Director of Guangxi Key Laboratory of Multimedia Communications and Network Technology, and the audience applauded warmly to congratulate their outstanding achievements.



Meanwhile, the conference invited scholars from the University of Melbourne, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Harbin Institute of Technology, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Hunan University, Sichuan University, Southeast University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Lanzhou Jiaotong University, Guangdong University of Technology, and other institutions. The on-site exchange atmosphere was vibrant and enthusiastic.


In the closing ceremony, Professor Chen Haiqiang, Executive Deputy Director of Guangxi Key Laboratory of Multimedia Communications and Network Technology, delivered the closing address. He comprehensively summarized the fruitful outcomes of the conference and expressed sincere gratitude to all attending guests, speakers, authors, organizing committee members, volunteers, and partner institutions.
Thus, the 5th International Conference on Computer Science, Electronic Information Engineering and Intelligent Control Technology (CEI 2025) concluded successfully in a warm yet rigorous academic atmosphere.
